    Day 1 - Saturday: Stroll around Vieux Tours

     

    Arrival in Tours

    At only a stone's throw from the railway station, you can get settled in at Hotel Oceania L'Univers de Tours as soon as you arrive in town.

     

    11 a.m. Cultural visits

    You can then stretch your legs by visiting Vieux Tours' iconic landmarks. Before heading off to explore other parts of the Loire, take a stroll around Place Plumereau with its grand half-timbered houses.

     

    12.30 Lunch or a drink on the terrace & shopping

    4 p.m. Exploring the region

    Once you're ready, you'll find Tours is the perfect base from which you can explore the region. Prepare to be bowled over by the incredible architecture of Château de Chenonceau, which is on the banks of River Cher and home to gorgeous French gardens.
