Pornichet is a French town in the Loire-Atlantique department. Thanks to its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, this town in western France has established itself as a must-visit seaside resort on the Atlantic coast.
No trip to Pornichet would be complete without enjoying one of its three beautiful beaches. Closest to downtown Pornichet, Plage des Librairies is the busiest of the three. It overlooks the Bay of La Baule. Located behind the Pointe de Congrigoux, Plage de Sainte-Marguerite is the most welcoming and family-friendly.
Located north of La Baule, the Brière Regional Natural Park owes its name to the Brières and marshes that constitute it. This 548 km² natural area is part of the Natura 2000 network thanks to the numerous species it contains.
A must-see in La Baule, the Escoublac forest is one of the highest coastal dunes in France at 52 meters high. It is home to the ancient village of Escoublac, the location of which is marked by a cross located in the heart of the forest.
Impossible to visit Pornichet without enjoying one of its three beautiful beaches. Closer to the city center, Librairies beach is the busiest. It overlooks the bay of La Baule. Located behind the Pointe de Congrigoux, Sainte-Marguerite beach is the friendliest and most family-friendly.

It would be unthinkable to visit Pornichet without drinking a muscat at Le Bidule, a legendary bar known throughout France. There are no chairs in this iconic bar for you to sit on while you have a drink. Customers are served in a friendly atmosphere around wooden barrels.
